The Manchester Pipe Band is organized as a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, the mission of which is the pursuit of excellence in traditional music through competition, performance, and instruction. MPB relies on the enormous efforts and dedication of our membership of musicians, all volunteers, in order to fulfill our mission.

The continuance of our mission necessitates even more time, effort, and funds as our organization grows. While MPB is almost entirely self-funded through our own operations, the generous assistance offered by benefactors and grant-writing organizations within our communities has allowed us to address specific needs or undertake vital projects that have had a great impact on the organization.

Of particular importance to us is the furtherance of our tradition through increased access to regular and high-quality instruction in traditional music for our young students.
